MUSHERS:

Registration closes on February 15, 2020.  There will be no late registrations accepted on Saturday, February 23, 2020.

MUSHER SIGN-IN & MEETING – Saturday, February 22, 2020

BOTH ARE MANDATORY.  Musher sign-in runs from 4 – 6:30 p.m. (Central Time) at Vermilion Community College. Sign-in, pick-up your bib, and receive your starting position.  Dr. Chip will be present to review vaccination and medical records.

After you have signed-in and taken care of paperwork, we hope you will enjoy the Musher Dinner, hosted by the Wilderness Club as a fund raiser (4-6:30 p.m.).  Cost is $10.00 per person.

The Musher Meeting starts promptly at 6:30 p.m.  The meeting is mandatory and role call will be taken. Vet checks – TBD

RACE START – Sunday, February 23, 2020

All mushers are required to be at the start/finish line (Ely Softball Complex) by 7 a.m. Bag checks are mandatory to run in the race.  8-dog teams leave the starting line beginning at 9 a.m., followed by 6-dog teams.

AWARDS CEREMONY

The Awards Ceremony follows the completion of the race.  Kick back and relax after a long race and enjoy items from Grand Ely Lodge’s special Musher Menu.  Mushers who place must be present to accept their winnings.
